Adoption

Hi everyone...well, this blog has been silent for far, far too long, so I figured that adopting a daughter is a great way to start getting in the habit of blogging again.

It is with great joy that we announce that we will adopt a daughter in the near future!! We started working with Christian Adoption Consultants at the end of August, and are starting our home study soon. Our consultant, Leah, has been a great help and is such an encourager. Leah and her husband recently adopted, so it's a great comfort to know that she knows what we are feeling and has been through all the paperwork, emotions and twists and turns that we will be diving into.
