What we see isn’t necessarily what is true

This picture looks pretty calm + sweet doesn’t it?

Well, what you can’t hear in this picture is a trumpet, a drum, a trumpet mouth piece and a very loud studio upright piano.

Sometimes I see pictures of other homeschooled children and think, “wow that is so calm and pretty” (because that’s what I’m naturally drawn to) but let’s remember that Social media doesn’t always show the whole story, and that is totally ok, but if you needed a reminder like I did, here it is:

My life is both

loud + quiet

Crazy + calm

Hard + good

Beautiful + messy

Confusing + clear

You get the point. I love seeing your feeds whether they are all beautiful or a mix of things.
