My story with Young Living

Let me take you back to 2016. I was a mom of three young boys, adjusting to life in a new town. Life was full—full of noise, full of change, and full of challenges. Two of my boys had been diagnosed with a walking disorder, and I was on a mission to find tools and resources to support them. At the same time, I was navigating my role as a homeschool mom, a homemaker, and a wife—juggling it all, but not always feeling like I had my feet firmly planted.

Like many moms, I was searching for ways to connect with other women who understood what I was going through. I longed for a community, but I also wanted to contribute and make an income from home. The weight of motherhood, homeschooling, and figuring out how to do it all started to feel like a heavy burden.

But everything changed in 2016 when I found my solution.

In 2012, I had reached out to a blogger I followed for years, asking about the essential oils she used. At the time, I chose a different brand because it was more affordable, but those oils offered little more than a pleasant smell. What I didn’t realize back then was that how oils are grown and processed truly matters. I learned that not all oils are created equal.

So, in March of 2016, I took the plunge and ordered my kit from Young Living, along with Thieves cleaner. For years, skin issues had plagued me, and as a mama, I couldn’t stand the thought of my babies crawling on a floor washed with toxic chemicals. But I was also tired of the smell of vinegar in my house. :)

When my products arrived, I couldn't stop sharing my story with friends. Soon, what started as simple conversations about wellness led to a little business of my own. This gave me a way to connect with other moms and, honestly, to have adult conversations again—which was such a gift for me as a stay-at-home mom with little ones always around.

As I continued using the oils topically and in my diffuser, I added supplements to my routine, and the benefits were undeniable. The changes I experienced were so transformative, I knew I had to share them with others.
